Area Agency on Aging of Western Arkansas, Inc

Since 1974, Area Agency on Aging has been a leader in providing 24-hour, in-home care to people of all ages. Our mission is to assist medically frail individuals in maintaining desired lifestyles through accessible and affordable alternatives.

Area Agency on Aging of Western Arkansas provides a range of home health services across western Arkansas from its three offices in Fort Smith (Corporate), Paris and Mena.

We bill Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. We also accept donations, memorials and private pay.

We provide care without regard to race, religion, color, sex, creed, national origin, age or physical or mental handicap. We provide services to individuals who have greatest economic need with particular attention to low-income minority individuals and older individuals residing in rural areas.

Our vision is to establish a quality aging-at-home environment for our underserved communities in western Arkansas.
